About Wanderland

“Curiouser and curiouser” cried Alice.

And just like Alice, we are curious about this wander-ful world in which we live.

Through the doors of our Wanderland we escape into a world enriched with vibrant life experiences. We discover tastes, encounter artists and their art, embrace the spiritual, we see amazing locations and dare out-of-our-comfort-zone experiences; whether that’s on a mountain top in New Zealand or down a quirky backstreet in London that’s dripping with sub-culture vibes.

We hold the key that allows us to enter a world full of things worth shouting about – because we love to wander in wonder.

We call ourselves the “White Bunnies”; those who go out and find these people and experiences to bring them closer to you, with the hope that you will follow the ‘white rabbit’ and dare to do them in turn.

We bring eager audiences a step closer to the kind of artistry they appreciate, recipes to suit or surprise any taste bud, wondrous locations to inspire, and spiritual experiences to nurture the soul.

Won’t you join us?

“read the directions and directly you will be directed in the right direction” – Your journey starts at the top of this page.

“What’s it like to live inside your head?” somebody asked Christakis (aka Chris) a couple years ago.

Christakis has been a class clown in Cyprus, an actor in Prague, and a writer in London; so it won’t surprise you to find out that he has a passion for the artistic, a flair for the dramatic, and has occasionally been known to be funny. Where his penchant for 60’s psychedelia has come from, though, is anyone’s guess.

Christakis feels he has been blessed with amazing experiences and exciting people and is ever hungry for more. This is why he’s created this blog: to drive that lust for experience, to write about the stuff he finds interesting, and to finally show you what’s it like to be inside his head. You’ll find him travelling (now more so than ever), socialising with his close friends (or new ones), being spiritual on weekends (to various definitions of ‘spiritual’), enjoying great books and weird art (or creating them), and cooking (Greek food, mainly).

Despite being fiercely loyal to his own bed, Taran, in an act of supreme self-trolling, has surrounded himself with people who scheme to keep him from it. This pairing of circumstances has lead to a curious life and curiouser adventures, both at home and abroad.

Having ritually burned all her pinstripe suits, Tanya spends her days wandering around Malta enjoying the sense of being lost and writing it all down with a glitter pen. She has written books and directed films but is yet to release either because she’s too busy not completing other projects. After a long and champagne-quaffing 15 years of pretending to work in the Square Mile, Tanya has finally FINALLY settled on a rock in the Med in a bid to get back to her roots. A degree in War & Terrorism hasn’t helped but there are 300 days of sunshine at her new home and plenty of young tanned Justin Bieber wannabes. In her free time, Tanya enjoys learning languages, doing Master’s degrees (because it’s so damn cheap here) and exploring her little island. (That’s not a euphemism.)

Cordelia is an avid writer currently signed to The Blair Partnership. She studied for a Creative Writing BA and a MA in Writing for Young People, meaning she is more qualified at writing than she is at adulting. She is a huge fan of lists, crosswords and spending half of her life on YouTube. Her dream is to write for a living, and maybe even travel the world while she’s at it.

P1320435.jpegHaving decided that the prescribed life and career expectations that were hanging over him in his early life weren’t quite to his taste, Richard set about the much more enlightening journey of finding what’s in his own Heart, and living by his own journeys. This journey has taken him through as many intense spiritual experiences he could lay his hands on – whether it’s 10 day meditations, dancing in field for 3 days without food and water or hardcore 6 week Ayurvedic detoxifications in India. He’s currently teaching uber relaxing yoga, practising acupuncture and offering unique wellness coaching programmes helping people understand the mechanics of the human experience itself. And in one of Life’s true mysteries, he also has a thing for 1990’s Indie Rock. Isn’t life wonderful?!
